The Masters 2018 Odds and How To Bet Guide

By Golf

It’s Masters week!  The best golfers in the world are headed to Augusta National golf course this weekend to battle it out for the most coveted prize in professional golf: the green jacket.  Sergio Garcia won The Masters last year in a dramatic playoff with Justin Rose for a long overdue first major win.  This year the tournament will also see the return of Tiger Woods, which will bring a massive amount of media attention to the golf tournament, as well as many new bettors who might not get action on the tourney if it wasn’t for Tiger.

There really isn’t an outright favorite heading into The Masters either, which adds a lot of intrigue because it’s anyone’s tournament to win.  Some sportsbooks even have Woods as the favorite, while players like Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, and Jordan Spieth are all right there as basically co-favorites.  Pick your horse and hope for the best.  If you can pick the winner it will be a good payday regardless.

How To Bet On The Masters Online

If you’re new to betting online, but are ready to get some action on the 2018 Masters then you’re in the right spot.  Just follow the simple 3 step guide below to get your bets in before/during the tournament.

Step 1. Open An Online Betting Account

First you will need to open an online sportsbook account that you will use to place your Masters wagers.  For the purposes of this guide I’m going to be using BetOnline as our example because they are one of my favorite sites and they accept players from everywhere in the world (including the USA).

Step 2. Deposit Funds

Next you will need to deposit the money you wish to bet on The Masters.  Both of the sportsbooks I looked at above offer a wide variety of both deposit and withdrawal options.

BetOnline accepts Visa, MasterCard, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Western Union, Moneygram, Neteller, Skrill, Wire Transfer and Cashier Check deposits.  If you deposit with bitcoin you receive a 100% matching bonus up to $1000.  If you use any of the other methods you can receive a 50% matching bonus on your first deposit.

Step 3. Place Your Bets

It’s time to bet on the Masters!  You will find the Masters odds in two different sections of the BetOnline sportsbook.

For the tournament winner odds and other futures bets (round winners, etc) you should select the ‘Futures & Props’ drop down menu and then select ‘Golf Futures’.

For the head to head, 3-ball, and other bets you should select ‘Golf’ in the ‘Other Sports’ section.

If you’re new to betting online you should check out our golf betting section to learn about some of the different wagers you can make on a golf tournament.  I also suggest checking out the sports betting odds info page where I provide detailed examples explaining how to read the different odd formats you will find online.

That should be it.  You’re ready to bet.  Here’s a link to BetOnline.ag.  Get your bets placed.
