It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Super Bowl 58 is set to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada this evening (Sunday, February 11th), with kick-off scheduled for 6:30pm EST. The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs each won their respective Conference Championship games to book their tickets to the big game.
The 49ers finished the regular season with a 12-5 record to secure the #1 seed in the NFC, and used their wild card bye and home field advantage to defeat the Packers and Lions in their two playoff games to advance to the Super Bowl. The Chiefs were the #3 seed in the AFC with an 11-5 regular season record. The Chiefs defeated the Dolphins on wild card weekend, and then went on the road to defeat the Bills and Ravens in the divisional round and AFC Championship, to return to the Super Bowl for the 4th time in 5 years.
