How To Bet On Super Bowl 57 From Florida

By NFL

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Super Bowl 57 is set to take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona tonight (Sunday, February 12th, 2023) with kick-off scheduled for 6:30pm EST.  The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs each won their respective Conference Championship games to book their tickets to the big game.

The Eagles and Chiefs both finished the regular season with 14-3 records to finish first in their respective Conferences. The first place finishes gave them a bye through the wild card round and home field advantage in the Divisional Round and Conference Championship playoff games.

The Super Bowl is almost always the most bet on single game sporting event in the United States each year, and I’m not expecting this year to be an exception.  Both teams are exciting to watch with plenty of star players, and with sports betting becoming more main stream, I’m expecting a lot of action on Super Bowl 57.  For this reason I wanted to add this page to help new bettors from Florida easily get bets placed on this years Super Bowl.

On this page I will recommend the best sportsbook for Florida residents, touch on the betting climate in Florida, look at the odds for some popular Super Bowl bets, and finish with a simple 3 step guide you can follow to get your Super Bowl bets placed online.

Super Bowl Betting in Florida

Regulared sports betting is not currently available in the state of Florida. In May of 2021 a tribal-state gaming compact was approved with the Seminole Tribe of Florida, but a federal court decision quickly vacated the gaming compact. The case is currently being appealed, but in the meantime there are no regulated betting apps available to Florida residents.

Florida residents have been betting through offshore betting sites that are licensed and regulated outside of the United States for years, and that is still the best option for betting on Super Bowl LVII.  BetOnline.ag is licensed and regulated in the country of Panama, and accepts players from across the United States, including Florida.

Check out our Florida sports betting page for some more details about the betting climate in the state.

Super Bowl 57 Betting Lines

Let’s look at the odds for the three main betting lines for Super Bowl LVII (from February 12th – the morning of Super Bowl Sunday):

Point Spread

The point spread at BetOnline has the Eagles as 1 point favorites over the Chiefs.  This means the Eagles would have to win by 2 or more points to cover the spread, while the Chiefs have to win the game outright for a spread bet on the Chiefs to be a winner. If the Eagles win by exactly 1 point then the spread bets would push and be returned.

Money Line

The money line is simply wagering on which team will win the game.  The Eagles are favorites with odds of -120 to win Super Bowl 57.  This means you would have to risk $120 to win $100 betting the Eagles.  The Chiefs have odds of +100, so a $100 bet on the Chiefs to win the game wins $100 (pays $200) if they pull off the minor upset.

Check out our American Odds page if you don’t understand the odds.

Over/Under

The over/under for the game is set at 51.  If 52 or more points are scored by both the Chiefs and Eagles combined, the over bets will be winners.  If 50 or fewer points are scored in the game, then the under bets will be winners. If exactly 51 points are scored the over/under bets would push and be returned.

You can see all of these up to date odds at the BetOnline.ag website by clicking on ‘Sports’ from the top menu bar, opening the ‘Football’ drop down menu and selecting ‘NFL’ -> ‘NFL Football Game’.  There are also several other prop betting options under the ‘Super Bowl LVII’ drop down menu in the football section.

  1. Grownup in New York City sports betting was part of our lives even though it was illegal. It’s funny how all the things I’ve see people go to jail for sport gambling, weed ect… ect… now the government runs them. God bless America
