How To Bet On Super Bowl 54 From Florida

Super Bowl 54 is set to take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida this Sunday, February 2nd, 2020.  The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers each won their respective Conference Championship games by significant margins to book their ticket to the biggest game in North American sports.

The Super Bowl is almost always the most bet on single game sporting event in the United States each year, and I’m not expecting this year to be an exception.  Both teams are very exciting to watch, and with sports betting becoming more main stream, I’m expecting a lot of action on Super Bowl 54.  For this reason I wanted to add this page to help new bettors from Florida easily get bets placed on this years Super Bowl that is taking place right in the state.

On this page I will recommend the best sportsbook for Florida residents, touch on the betting climate in Florida, look at the odds for some popular Super Bowl bets, and finish with a simple 3 step guide you can follow to get your Super Bowl bets placed online.

Super Bowl 54 Betting Lines

Let’s look at the odds for the three main betting lines for Super Bowl LIV (from January 31st):

Point Spread

The point spread at BetOnline has the Chiefs as 1 point favorites over the 49ers.  This means the Chiefs would have to win by 2 or more points to cover the spread, while the 49ers have to win the game outright for a spread bet on the Niners to be a winner.  If the Chiefs win by 1 point then the spread bets would be a push.

Money Line

The money line is simply wagering on which team will win the game.  The Chiefs are favorites with odds of -122 to win Super Bowl 54.  This means you would have to risk $122 to win $100 betting the Chiefs.  The 49ers have odds of +102, so a $100 bet on the Niners to win the game wins $102 (pays $202) if they pull off the minor upset.

Check out our American Odds page if you don’t understand the odds.

The over/under for the game is set at 54.  If 55 or more points are scored by both the 49ers and Chiefs combined, the over bets will be winners.  If 53 or fewer points are scored in the game, then the under bets will be winners.  Exactly 54 points being scored would result in a push.

You can see all of these up to date odds at the website by clicking on ‘Sports’ from the top menu bar, opening the ‘Football’ drop down menu and selecting ‘NFL’.  There are also several other prop betting options under the ‘Game Props’ drop down menu.
