How To Bet On Super Bowl 56 From Florida

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Super Bowl 56 is set to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California this evening at 6:30pm (Sunday, February 13th, 2022).  The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals each won their respective Conference Championship games to book their tickets to the big game.

This will be the second time in NFL history that a team competing in the Super Bowl will be playing in their home stadium (the Rams play home games at SoFi Stadium). The first time in history was just last year, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took advantage of their home field advantage to win Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

The Super Bowl is almost always the most bet on single game sporting event in the United States each year, and I’m not expecting this year to be an exception.  Both teams are exciting to watch with plenty of star players, and with sports betting becoming more main stream, I’m expecting a lot of action on Super Bowl 56.  For this reason I wanted to add this page to help new bettors from Florida easily get bets placed on this years Super Bowl.

On this page I will recommend the best sportsbook for Florida residents, touch on the betting climate in Florida, look at the odds for some popular Super Bowl bets, and finish with a simple 3 step guide you can follow to get your Super Bowl bets placed online.

In May of 2021 a tribal-state gaming compact was approved with the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The compact allows for both retail and mobile sports betting in the state. That said, there are no regulated betting apps yet available for Florida residents.

Florida residents have been betting through offshore betting sites that are licensed and regulated outside of the United States for years, and that is still the best option for betting on Super Bowl LVI. is licensed and regulated in the country of Panama, and accepts players from across the United States, including Florida.

Super Bowl 56 Betting Lines

Let’s look at the odds for the three main betting lines for Super Bowl LVI (from Super Bowl Sunday – February 13th):

Point Spread

The point spread at BetOnline has the Rams as 4.5 point favorites over the Bengals.  This means the Rams would have to win by 5 or more points to cover the spread, while the Bengals have to win the game outright or lose by 4 or fewer points for a spread bet on the Bengals to be a winner.

Money Line

The money line is simply wagering on which team will win the game.  The Rams are favorites with odds of -200 to win Super Bowl 56.  This means you would have to risk $200 to win $100 betting the Rams.  The Bengals have odds of +180, so a $100 bet on the Bengals to win the game wins $180 (pays $280) if they pull off the upset.

Check out our American Odds page if you don’t understand the odds.

The over/under for the game is set at 49.  If 50 or more points are scored by both the Rams and Bengals combined, the over bets will be winners.  If 48 or fewer points are scored in the game, then the under bets will be winners. If exactly 49 points are scored the over/under bets would push and be returned.

You can see all of these up to date odds at the website by clicking on ‘Sports’ from the top menu bar, opening the ‘Football’ drop down menu and selecting ‘NFL’.  There are also several other prop betting options under the ‘Super Bowl Props’ drop down menu in the football section.
