How To Bet On The Ryder Cup Online – 3 Step Guide

By Golf

The top players from the United States and Europe head to Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Italy this weekend to battle it out for the 2023 Ryder Cup this weekend.  Team USA won the 2021 version of the event on home soil, but they have not won the event in Europe since 1993.  That said, the odds indicate the match-up is close to a pick’em with Europe being slight favorites to win the Ryder Cup outright, while Team USA is actually a slight favorite to lift the trophy (due to the defending winner retaining the Ryder Cup in the event of a tie).

Team USA: Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa, Xander Schauffele, Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Sam Burns, Rickie Fowler, and Justin Thomas.

Team Europe: Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Robert MacIntyre, Viktor Hovland, Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Sepp Straka, Justin Rose, Shane Lowry, Nicolai Hojgaard, and Ludvig Aberg.

The Ryder Cup is basically another golf major in terms of the viewership.  The Ryder Cup typically draws a similar number of viewers to the three majors outside of the Masters in the United States.  I’m expecting a lot of new bettors looking to bet on the Ryder Cup this year, which is why I wanted to add this 3 step guide to betting on the Ryder Cup online.

Step 2. Deposit

You will have to fund your account with the money you want to bet on the Ryder Cup.

Once logged into your account click on ‘Deposit’ in the top menu bar.  Choose one of the deposit methods and follow the instructions to complete your deposit.  **Use promo code BOL1000 to opt-in to the 50% matching bonus up to $1000.

BetOnline accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Bitcoin, Ethereum, other cryptocurrencies and a variety of e-wallets and other methods that depend on your country.  You can withdraw via most of these methods as well, with bank wire and check through the mail being other cash out methods.

Step 3. Place Your Ryder Cup Bets

You’re ready to bet!

Click on ‘Sports’ from the top navigation menu, open the ‘Golf’ drop down menu and select ‘Ryder Cup’ to find the odds for the event winner and the spread.

Here are the odds for which team will win the event (odds taken on September 28th – the day before the Ryder Cup):

You can also select ‘Props’ -> ‘Ryder Cup’ under the Golf menu to see the full list of Ryder Cup betting markets entering the event. Some of the event props include point totals (over/unders) for individual players, top overall point scorer, top American point scorer, top European point scorer, event correct score, and more.

During the tournament you will also be able to bet on individual matches.

Once you find a bet you want to make, select the odds to add it to your Bet Slip. Enter your wager amount on the Bet Slip and click ‘Place Bet’ to make your wager.

If you’re new to betting I suggest checking out our betting guide section, especially looking at the sports betting odds page to learn how to read the betting lines.

That’s it.  Ready to bet?  Click here to visit BetOnline.ag.
