Hard-hitting English heavyweight Johnny Fisher will be going toe to toe with Michael Pirotton of Belgium this Saturday, September 26th. The 10-round fight from London can be seen live in most nations on Paramount + while fans in the UK and Ireland can catch it on Sky Sports Main Event. Fisher last saw action in December when he stopped Ivan Balaz in the fourth round. In his previous outing seven months earlier Fisher suffered his lone pro defeat when Dave Allen halted him in the fifth round of their rematch. The two first met in Saudi Arabia in December, 2024 with Fisher winning a controversial 10-round split decision in a rock-em sock-em fight after being dropped in the fifth round. Pirotton was last in the ring in in August when he stopped Jiovani Sheik in the third round.

The 27-year-old Fisher, known as ‘The Romford Bull’, boasts a mark of 14-1 with 12 Ko’s. He has just 50 rounds of experience under his belt since making his pro debut in 2021 following his amateur career. He stands 6-feet-4-inches tall with an unlisted reach and has displayed excellent power as a pro as 85.7 per cent of his wins have come by stoppage. He’s gone the distance just twice. The first time was against Gabriel Enguema when he was taken six rounds in a unanimous decision win in February 2022. The second time was in the first meeting with Dave Allen.
Fisher has scored five first-round knockouts, three in the second round, one in the third, two in the fourth and one in the seventh round. He hasn’t taken on the greatest opponents in the division though with Allen and the previously-unbeaten Alen Babic being the toughest of the bunch. Fisher captured the vacant British Southern Area Heavyweight Title in August 2023 when he stopped Harry Armstrong in the seventh round after dropping him in the first.
Michael ‘Bomaye’ Pirotton is 30 years old and climbs into the squared circle with a mark of 12-2 with 6 Ko’s. He made his pro debut in 2019 following his amateur career and has boxed 68 rounds since. He’s got pretty good size for a heavyweight at 6-feet-5-inches tall and an 82-inch reach, which means he’s an inch taller than Fisher. He possesses average power in his arsenal as 50 per cent of his victories have come by stoppage.
Pirotton’s first defeat came at the hands of Piotr Lacz by six-round unanimous decision in April 2025. He then lost his next fight seven months later when Juan Alberts beat him by an eight-round unanimous decision. Since then he’s won two fights by stoppage. Eight of Pirotton’s 14 opponents entered the ring with a winning record while 11 of Fisher’s 15 foes had a winning mark. However Pirotton also competed in Team Boxing League (one-round fights), and managed to beat Brandon Glanton by split decision.
Prediction…
Fisher basically comes out swinging from the opening bell. And other than the first Dave Allen fight it’s been a pretty successful tactic for him by knocking most opponents out left, right and centre. Pirotton is a big heavyweight though and arguably owns a better chin than Fisher. However he doesn’t have much in the way of power. Neither boxer is elite as they’re both domestic/European level. Fisher is favoured due to his power but he doesn’t own the greatest boxing skills. Still, I’m leaning towards Fisher to pull it out due to that power.
Fisher has a big edge in power.
