Now it’s time to place your bets! BetOnline is accepting bets on the Breeders Cup races all week leading into the races on the weekend.
You can bet on the races at the BetOnline Racebook, which you can find by selecting ‘Racebook’ from the top menu bar at BetOnline.ag. Once at the Racebook you should select ‘Keeneland’ from the ‘US Thoroughbred’ drop down menu. The Breeders Cup races will all be featured on this page.
You should then select the date of the race you want to bet on (Nov 04 or Nov 05) and the race # of the race. The Breeders Cup Classic is race #11 on Saturday November 5th.
Next you can select the type of bet you want to make (straight, exacta, trifecta, superfecta, etc) and place your bets in the boxes of your desired horses. Click ‘Add To Bet Slip’ to add your bets to your slip, and click ‘Place Bets’ to lock in your wagers once you’re satisfied with all of your bets.
The odds you see on the Racebook page can change because the bets are taken under the parimutuel betting system, which means the odds change depending on who bets on which horses after you as well. Learn all about parimutuel betting here.
The betting options you see include ‘Win, Place or Show‘ bets, and exotic bets such as ‘Exacta’, ‘Trifecta’, ‘Superfecta’, ‘Daily Double’, ‘Pick 3’ or ‘Pick 4’. Check out our horse racing betting page to learn more about each of these types of wagers.
**You can also bet using fixed odds through the Sportsbook at BetOnline.ag. Select ‘Sports’ from the top menu bar, open the ‘Horse Racing’ drop down menu and select ‘Horses Daily’ -> ‘Keeneland’ to see the odds.
