How To Bet On 2020 Preakness Stakes From Florida

By Horse Racing

The Preakness Stakes is the usually the second leg of the Triple Crown, but this year the race was postponed its scheduled running day on the 3rd Saturday of May to this Saturday, October 3rd. With the Belmont Stakes going ahead on its originally scheduled June date, the Preakness was also bumped to the final race of the 2020 Triple Crown.

Tiz the Law won the Belmont Stakes in June, but finished second to Authentic at last months Kentucky Derby, so there will not be a potential Triple Crown winner at this years Preakness Stakes.  That said, Derby winner Authentic will be in the field, as well as several other top quality horses including Art Collector and Thousand Words.

On this page I will recommend a betting site for Florida residents, look at where you can bet on the race from Florida, look at the early Preakness odds and finish with a simple 3 step guide you can follow to bet on this years Preakness Stakes.

Here is a screenshot of the fixed winner odds for the 2020 Preakness Stakes race from BetOnline.  These odds could change as we get closer to the race (odds accurate as of October 2nd).

Authentic is the favorite coming off his win at the Kentucky Derby in September. Art Collector, who did not participate in the other Triple Crown races, is his main competition. Art Collector has the faster racing times than Authentic, but has not competed against a field of this quality. Thousand Words at 10-1 definitely has a real chance at the win as well.
