Zurich Classic of New Orleans Betting Picks

By Golf

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is here and another week of top class entertainment is lying in wait for PGA Tour enthusiasts. TPC Louisiana is the course and measures 7, 425 yards and plays as a par 72. Ranked as one of the easier tracks on the tour over the 4 days, one can expect the scoring to be quite low. There are plenty birdie opportunities available and given that quite a strong field is assembling for this event, we should all be treated to some dead eye attacking of flags. Defending champion Justin Rose managed to finish on 22 under last year and will hope that he can find the same form and replicate what can only be described as a near faultless performance in 2015. 3 of the top 10 in the world rankings make their way to Louisiana and lead what is a very competitive field. Jason Day will be desperate to bounce back from a poor showing in the third round at the RBC Heritage. Day shot a 79 and recorded one of the worst scores he has ever shot in America. There will be a lot to play for as this is the last chance to qualify for the Players Championship that takes place in two weeks. Known as the 5th major, anybody out the qualifying spots will certainly try and make a last ditch attempt to qualify at TPC Louisiana this week.

Justin Rose (+750 BetOnline.ag)

It is not always easy to defend the title you won the year before but Justin Rose put on such a dominant performance last time around that one can’t help but feel he will hit the ground running when they tee off on Thursday. Rose hasn’t played all that much golf of late as his last tournament was the Masters where he finished for a tie of 10th. Fresh and full of confidence, Rose may just pull off a title defense.

Rickie Fowler (+1200 BetOnline.ag)

Fowler has also not played since the Masters and will be coming back after a good little break. Despite a very disappointing showing where he missed the cut at the years first major, there is reason to believe Fowler will put in a good performance at TPC Louisiana. Having turned in to a very competitive and consistent performer over the past year, Fowler will back himself for glory this week.

Charley Hoffman (+2000  BetOnline.ag)

Charley Hoffman is in red hot form at the moment. Hoffman won the Valero Texas Open last week and before that came in for a tie of 14th at the RBC Heritage. There is every reason to believe that Hoffman will bring that form into this weeks Zurich Classic, and if he does he will remain at the top of the leaderboard all weekend.
