The RSM Classic Betting Picks

By Golf

It’s off to Sea Island we go as the PGA Tour swings into St Simons, Georgia. It’s the last event of the fall season and it’s one all the pros out there would like to have under their belt. Sea Island GC(seaside) itself is a course that is set against some of the most picturesque backdrops you can imagine. Most of the shots provide a postcard moment and as a spectacle it’s a fans favorite. Sea Island GC measures 7, 005 yards and plays as a par 70. It’s certainly not the longest course out there but does provide a unique set of challenges and asks many questions of a players ability. With that being said, Kevin Kisner did make extremely light work of it all last year as he won by a six shot lead and eventually finished on an outstanding 22 under. Players certainly can go low but it all depends on how much the wind will blow. The links set up at Sea Island does make for exciting viewing as the players battle the gusts coming off the ocean. So many of the past winners have been fantastic links players but it isn’t a prerequisite as Kisner showed last year. The adopted local players that live around the island are always up there throughout the weekend. It’s a tournament that Matt Kuchar loves and he will look to sign off the year with a win on his ‘home soil’.

Matt Kuchar (+1600 BetOnline.ag)

The Olympic bronze medalist is always there or thereabouts when it comes to the RSM Classic final placings. He’ll look forward to doing well again and finishing off what has been another solid season. A win is a realistic possibility and he’ll do everything he can to start well. A good start from Kuch and he may find the momentum to go all the way.

Chris Kirk (+1400 BetOnline.ag)

Chris Kirk is knocking on the door and getting closer every week. He’s coming off a 7th place finis last week in Mexico and is playing some of his best golf at the moment. He will be desperate to make it count and get a win before all the big names start coming back at the turn of the New Year. Expect a big performance from Kirk this weekend.

Anirban Lahiri (+4000 BetOnline.ag)

The talented Indian golfer enjoyed 3 great days in Mexico last week before falling off the pace in the last round to finish in 28th place. He’s a player with an enormous amount of skill and seems to be growing in confidence. There’s every reason to believe he will put in another top performance at Sea Island this week.
