Greenbrier Classic Betting Picks

By Golf

The Greenbrier Classic is back and that is fantastic news for all golf fans. Last years event had to be scrapped after dreadful flooding. The Old White TPC is back up and running and looking as tremendous at ever. Measuring 7, 287 yards and playing as a par 70, it is a good test of golf and an iconic course on the PGA roster. Named the Old White because of the famous hotel on the property that stood for over 60 years. There isn’t long left before the Open takes place and there are 4 berths available that will be decided this week at the Greenbrier Classic. Those who finish in the top 12 and are not already qualified will automatically secure their spot at Royal Birkdale in two weeks time. After that there will only be one spot left that will be decided at the John Deere Classic next week. As the third major approaches and the season begins to take proper shape it always brings about a run of results that weren’t always predicted. Whether you are playing to make the FedEx Cup line up or trying to secure your card, now is the time to start performing before you leave yourself too much to do. Expect a few players that have had quiet seasons to put in a big shift this weekend at the Greenbrier Classic. With spots at the Open available and a watered down field with only 4 of the top 30 in the world playing, this week provides a great opportunity for a few lesser known players to stand up.

Bubba Watson (+2800 BetOnline.ag)

Bubba Watson has been so far off the beat and track it defies belief. This year has undoubtedly been his worst on tour and many suspect it is because of the ball change he agreed to. However, Watson is a world class player and form is temporary whilst class is permanent. The big hitting left-hander has a great chance of putting that all behind him with a win this week.

Bill Haas (+1600 BetOnline.ag)

Bill Haas’ game is trending in the right direction again. In his last two events he has finished 13th and 5th. He is getting back to the form he showed in 2012 and will undoubtedly fancy his chances this week.

Keegan Bradley (+2800 BetOnline.ag)

Keegan Bradley is enjoying a fine season and is coming off finishes of 5th and 8th in his last two events. There is every possibility that Bradley may find one more gear and go on and win this week.
