BMW Championship Betting Picks

The penultimate event of the season is only a few days away as the tour is back in full swing after a break last week. The Deutsche Bank Championship proved to be as entertaining as anything we have seen this season. Steady golf from Fowler winning the day. This leaves the little Californian well poised going into the last two events of the season. This weeks tournament will be played at Conway Farms Golf Club. It measures 7,198 yards and plays as a par 71. Sergio Garcia returns to action this week after sitting out the first two playoffs. The Spaniard went into the playoffs at 31st but due to not playing he has dropped to 54. He will need a good week as the bubble will be cut to just 30 players at the end of this event. 2000 FedExCup Points will be up for grabs as well as a whopping $8,250,000. This week should see some big moves as the $10m is now in reach for one of the remaining 70. Some players are closer than others but two strong finishes could see someone pull off a remarkable smash and grab. Jordan Speith seems to have now officially lost the initiative as he has missed consecutive cuts. The highly talented Texan still remains within striking distance but only time will tell if he can shake off this current wave of horrendous form. Hold onto your hats, it’s going to be a ride to remember.

Bubba Watson (+2000 BetOnline.ag)

Bubba Watson has started these two playoff events quite slowly. Finishing tied 29th twice in a row. However he has enjoyed a fantastic season and has finished first, twice second and has managed a third, all in the last three months. Watson has been knocking on the door but just hasn’t done quite enough in the playoffs. There seems to be enough reason to suggest he still has a win in him this season and who can bet against his length off the tee box when he starts to get it going. Look for Bubba come late Sunday.

Rory Mcilroy (+750 BetOnline.ag)rory

The Northern Irishman tied for a disappointing 29th two weeks ago but finished on Sunday with a 66. That 66 included 6 birdies. Mcilory is arguably the best golfer in the world. Injury has stunted his performance during the second half of the season but he seems to be finding rhythm again and is playing with a great beat again. On the final day of the Deutsche Bank Championship it looked like he moved up a gear. Expect Mcilroy to shoot the lights out this week.

Louis Oosthuizen (+4000 BetOnline.ag)

The South African has enjoyed a great season. Playing particularly well in the majors but not yet winning on the PGA Tour this season. He has said he is fit again and will want to get some form going before he heads across to Europe to try and win the Race to Dubai. Oosthuizen also sits on 30th place which is the cut off so he will need a strong showing at Conway Farms. Look out for a fit again Oosthuizen, he may well finish on top of the pile this week.
