USC vs. Notre Dame – Week 13 Play

By College Football

USC +7 vs. Notre Dame

Irish are looking to lock up a berth in the BCS National Championship game against rival USC in their first game as the top team in the nation.  USC has won 9 of the last 10 in the series but will be without QB Matt Barkley, starting freshman Max Wittek in his place.  The freshman will be thrown into the fire against a Notre Dame team that has one of the top defenses in the country, however USC still has superstar receivers and a defense good enough to slow down an average Irish offense.

What will happen:  USC will come out fired up to ruin Notre Dame’s perfect season.  Max Wittek will get the ball in the hands of star WRs Marqise Lee and Robert Woods who have the ability to light up Notre Dame’s secondary.  A few big plays early in the game will have ND playing from behind.  All the pressure in the world is on Notre Dame and they’ll show it in this hostile environment as USC pulls the upset on senior day.

Prediction:  USC 35  Notre Dame 27

The Play:  USC +7 (5Dimes.eu)

YTD Record: 13-11
