Syracuse @ Missouri (Week 13 Preview & Prediction)

This non-conference game is flying under the radar but it means a lot to both teams who are looking for that elusive sixth win to become bowl eligible. Both squads come into Saturday night’s contest in Columbia with momentum. The visiting Orange knocked off previously unbeaten Louisville convincingly last Saturday and the Tigers roared back in four overtimes to win 51-48 after trailing 21-7 at the half at Tennessee. Both offenses are potent and the Tigers have regained the services of sophomore QB James Franklin. Orange QB Ryan Nassib is in line to claim some of the all-time passing marks having thrown for (3,019) yards so far this season.

The Orange have a nice target on offense in Alec Lemon and the offense is averaging (469) yards a game. Syracuse has struggled outdoors this season going 1-4. The Tigers got a boost from RB Kendial Lawrence who rushed for (153) yards and two scores last week in Knoxsville. The Tigers are (4-0) when Lawrence rushes for (100) or more yards. The key in this game will be which defense can perform and create a few turnovers. The winner in this game will be decided by turnover margin.

Syracuse @ Missouri -4.5 (Betting Prediction)

Its senior night in Columbia and this group of seniors has the responsibility of keeping a seven year bowl streak intact. The home crowd should be jacked up and with a trip to College Station next week the Tigers need to take care of business Saturday night. Look for the road woes to show up again for Syracuse who will have a tough time matching the intensity of Missouri on senior night and leaving the win over Louisville behind. Prediction: Tigers 33 Orange 20

Play: Missouri -4.5 (5Dimes.eu)
