I watched Baylor play against TCU and even though I vaguely remembered Robert Griffin III (RG3) from last season as showing promise, I came away from that game just wowed. The kid just looked phenomenal on the field. He could run, he could throw he was a leader, everything you want and expect from the position. I saw something else as well, something not from RG3 but from the Baylor team, they believed. That’s right, this Baylor team believes in Griffin and what’s more they believe in themselves.

Kansas St enters the game off an upset win at Miami. That victory was 3-fold. Miami played horrible, Miami was in an obvious let down spot after just beating Ohio St and Kansas St cam to play, was prepared to play and made the plays needed to win the game. Ok so that looks like more than 3-fold but since I grouped all the Kansas St good together it counts. Don’t argue with me it’s my article.

This would be a spot where an inexperienced undefeated team might have a reality check, where they might find themselves in a bit of adversity and crumble. It would be a perfect spot to capitalize on a home dog. In fact it actually might be. While I do think Baylor wins the game and even covers I would rather tempt fate and go in a direction I rarely go and even more rarely go correctly.

I look for a showcase of offense in this game. I doubt I’ll see Baylor continue with their average of 51 points per game but close. I also think we’ll see 30 + points from Kansas St as well. So I like the OVER better as at least equal to the side here. I see Baylor winning 45-35.
