The 2026 Orange Bowl will be played at Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami, Florida this Thursday (January 1st, 2026). This years Orange Bowl will be a College Football quarter-final game, with the #5 ranked Oregon Ducks and #4 ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders battling it out with the winner advancing to the Peach Bowl on January 9th.

Oregon outplayed James Madison in the first round of the College Football Playoffs, winning 51-34 to advance to the Orange Bowl.
Texas Tech finished the season 12-1, defeating BYU 34-7 in the Big 12 Championship to secure the #4 seed in the College Football Playoffs and a first round bye. Texas Tech’s only loss of the season came on the road to Arizona State. They won the rest of their games by significant margins, but the Big 12 was not at the level of the Big Ten or SEC this season.
