Jeamie Tshikeva vs Richard Riakphore Preview April 11th, 2026

The British Heavyweight Crown is up for grabs this Saturday, April 11th as champion Jeamie ‘TKV’ Tshikeva battles it out with Richard Riakphore in London. The 12-rounder can be seen live in most nations on Netflix. Tshikeva last fought in November when he edged Frazer Clarke by a 12-round split decision to take the belt. In his previous outing last April, Tshikeva was stopped in the sixth round by David Adeleye in a shot at the vacant British Belt in another typical controversial refereeing decision in the UK. Riakphore last saw ring action in November when he stopped Tommy Welch in the second round.

  • Jeamie Tshikeva +503
  • Richard Riakphore -850

My Pick

Tshikeva, who’s also known as TKV, is 32 years old and hails from London. He makes the ring walk with a mark of 9-2 with 5 Ko’s and has boxed just 61 rounds since turning pro in 2022.He had an extensive amateur career and reached the quarterfinals of the English ABAE National Championships in 2018.He stands 6-feet-4-inches with an unlisted reach and has decent power as 55.6 per cent of his wins have come by stoppage including two of his past three. He won the vacant IBO International Heavyweight Title in February, 2025 when he stopped Michael Webster after nine rounds.

While he has good power, Tshikeva has been stopped in both of his losses. He was beaten by TKO by Igor Adiel Macedo in 2023 when he couldn’t continue after being cut by a punch in the sixth round. His loss to David Adeleye wasn’t a conventional stoppage either as Adeleye nailed Tshikeva when the referee called “break.” The referee allowed the fight to continue and a dazed Tshikeva was then dropped again a few seconds later and the fight was called off. The British Boxing Board of Control ordered an immediate rematch but of course it didn’t take place.

The 36-year-old Riakporhe, also from London, enters the ring with a fine mark of 19-1 with 15 Ko’s and has boxed 95 rounds since making his pro debut in 2016. Riakporhe didn’t take up the sport until he was 19 years old but he captured the vacant WBA Inter-Continental Cruiserweight Belt in his eighth pro fight by stopping Sam Hyde in the eighth round. He defended it against Tommy McCarthy by fourth-round stoppage and Chris Billam-Smith via a 10-round split decision.

Riakporhe added the vacant British Cruiserweight Title in December, 2019 with a 12-round unanimous decision over Jack Massey. He’s fought exclusively in England against European level competition and took a step up in class against Krzysztof Glowacki in 2023 and stopped him in the fourth round. Riakphore then met Billam-Smith in 2024 when Billam Smith was the WBO Cruiserweight champion and dropped a unanimous decision for his lone pro defeat.

Since he stands 6-feet-5-inches tall with a 77-inch reach, Riakporhe decided he has the height and reach to compete as a heavyweight and moved up to the division last May when he stopped Kevin Espindola after four rounds. He has an inch on Tshikeva and will be fighting as a full-fledged heavyweight for the third time. Riakphore possesses quite a bit of power in his fists as 79 per cent of his wins have come by stoppage including his last seven.

Prediction…

Riakporhe has the big edge in power and experience but neither boxer has really faced top-class opposition on a consistent basis. Riakporhe also has the better boxing skills end even though he’s 36 years old I give him the edge here.

Riakporhe has more power and better skills.
