OHL Classic at Mayakoba Betting Picks

A simply sensational few days in China this last week as Russel Knox came from nowhere to win his first PGA Tour title. He was an alternate entry until 10 days ago before the tournament started. So it was a mad scramble for visa’s to get over to china but he got it done and after 92 starts on The PGA Tour, he finally won his first title. A terrific win for the Scotsman which earned him $1.4 million dollars and a trip to The Masters next year. This week see the tour make its way from the China to Mexico. The track is El Camaleon Golf Course which measures 6,987 yards and plays as a par 71. This course is absolutely stunning as it makes its way around and through the jungle, mangroves and the ocean. It is a Greg Norman design and can pose a few serious questions when the wind picks up. Charlie Hoffman is the defending champion and returns to ‘The Chameleon’ to defend his title. It is a relatively low-key field with Matt Kuchar being the highest ranked player at 16 in the world rankings. Still, it promises to be a very picturesque affair on the Mexican coast and one that should sizzle as Sunday approaches.

Graeme Mcdowell (+3300 BetOnline.ag)

The Northern Irishman is playing some great golf again. He went through a bit of a down patch after the birth of his daughter but seems to be on the rise once more and threatens leaderboards at some stage during every tournament. If he can put 4 good rounds of golf together then he will stand a very good chance of winning again. He will be desperate for some silverware before the winter break.

Keegan Bradley (+4000 BetOnline.ag)

Keegan Bradley has enjoyed an indifferent season so far. Having missed the cut at The Shriners and only managing a tied for 47th at The CIMB Classic. The former major winner is a golfer who can blow hot and cold, but he will be eager to get some momentum going by winning this week in Mexico. Ryder cup points are on the line and a few players have already started to put their hands up. Bradley will want to finish off the year positively.

Russel Knox (+2000 BetOnline.ag)

Golf is a game all about confidence and right now Russel Knox’s must be sky high after having just won the WGC-HSBC Champions. If Knox can use the momentum from last weeks win then he should contend all the way in Mexico. His wedge and putting skills were firing at their maximum potential last week and it is very hard to stop anyone winning when they are putting it within 4 feet from 100 yards. Watch out for a rejuvenated Knox this week.
