BMW Championship Betting Picks

By Golf

The penultimate leg of the playoffs takes place this week at Conway Farms Golf Club which measures 7, 208 yards and plays as a par 71. It really is all to play for now as the season has almost run its course. It looks like a straight shootout between Jordan Speith, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson for FedEx Cup glory. Speith currently leads the FedEx Cup rankings with 5, 071 points, Thomas is on 5, 044 and Johnson on 4, 650. Whilst it is possible for another winner outside of those three, the rational thinking is that one of the trio will walk away with top honors. Dustin Johnson is back to defend the title he won at Conway Farms last year. Holding off the eternal bridesmaid Paul Casey to win the BMW Championship. It still wasn’t enough for Johnson to win the FedEx Cup the week afterwards as Rory Mcilroy made a surge through the field to win in dramatic style at East lake. The field will be cut from 70 to 30 by the end of the weekend. The top 30 in the playoffs will advance to East Lake and by doing so earn themselves a very handsome payday. With the lucrative $10m waiting to be claimed there is no doubt that the action will intensify. As well paying as the PGA Tour is, winning the FedEx Cup changes lives. The golfing world is in for a treat this weekend as the players take one step closer to the season finale.

Justin Thomas (+1000

Justin Thomas is in the form of his life and has already captured 5 PGA Tour victories this year. He will be a tough man to beat this week at Conway Farms. The momentum he has doesn’t look like letting up. Thomas is quickly becoming a class act. A win this week and he will have one hand on the FedEx Cup.

Dustin Johnson (+700

Dustin Johnson knows how to win this event and has enjoyed incredible success here in the past. Coming in as the defending champion won’t faze him. His win a couple weeks ago at the Northern Trust showed he is back and in the groove again.

Jon Rahm (+1200

This young superstar is still in the running to win the FedEx Cup and he has a great chance of upping the ante with a top 5 finish this week. He can’t seem to put a foot wrong and has the composure to deliver when the pressure is on.
