Wyndham Championship Betting Picks

By Golf

The majors for 2017 have come to an end with the conclusion of the PGA Championship on Sunday afternoon. Justin Thomas walked away with his first major as he kept the chasing pack at bay to win by two shots. The action and entertainment is far from over as the race to the FedEx Cup is well and truly on. The Wyndham Championship is the last chance for the players out of the top 125 to make the playoffs. Sedgefield Country Club is the venue this week and measures 7, 127 yards and plays as a par 70. Last years champion Si Woo Kim won’t be defending the title he won here 12 months ago. Back trouble is keeping the South Korean from teeing it up and also ended his hopes of winning the PGA Championship last year. He had to withdraw after his opening round last week at the Quail Hollow Club. As for how the biggest names in the field go, the field is a bit watered down. Only five of the top 30 in the world tee it up. The bulk of the players will be those desperate to make the playoff line up. The financial incentive is huge and that should make for some thrilling action as it will be a case of all or nothing. There are always a few late entries to the playoffs and this week should throw up a few mouth watering scenarios.

Henrik Stenson (+1200 BetOnline.ag)

The 2013 FedEx Cup Champion is coming off two top 20 finishes and will fancy his chances against the field this week. As the highest ranked player in the world teeing it up there is reason to believe Stenson will put in an impressive shift as he seeks to capture valuable FedEx Cup points. It is all set up for the Super Swede to come away with top honors this week.

Ryan Moore (+2500 BetOnline.ag)

Ryan Moore had a good week at the Quail Hollow Club last week. Moore finished for a tie of  13th place and looked to be playing some of his better golf again. If he gets off to a good start then he could go all the way.

Kevin Kisner (+1400 BetOnline.ag)

Kevin Kisner is in sensational form and claimed a 7th place finish at the PGA Championship last week. If he carries on with this trajectory he will dominate this week in North Carolina.
