Wells Fargo Championship Betting Picks

By Golf

The Wells Fargo Championship is always a week to look forward to. Eagle Point serves as stand in host as Quail Hollow Club prepares for the PGA Championship. Eagle Point is a standout course that will more than carry it’s own. It proudly sits in Golf Digest’s top 100 golf courses. Measuring 7, 259 yards and playing as a par 72, it takes the breath away at every turn. James Haan is back to defend the title he won here last year, beating Roberto Castro in a playoff. Other noticeable storyline’s include the return of Dustin Johnson after his back injury that was suffered during the week of the Masters. The US Open champ fell down a flight of stairs and injured his back on the eve of the tournament. He was the definite favorite going in and will want to make amends by wining the Wells Fargo Championship. With a strong field and a world class course to host it, it promises to be another great PGA spectacle. The season is well on track and the need for FedEx Cup points will begin to become more and more necessary.

Dustin Johnson (+500 BetOnline.ag)

It is incredibly hard to look past Dustin Johnson. His form of late has been leaps and bounds better than anyone in world golf at the moment. He’s the highest ranked player in the field as he sits proudly on top of the world golf rankings. There isn’t a thing he can’t do at the moment and will have the belief to win this weekend. There is every chance that Johnson will blow away the field again this week.

Kevin Kisner (+2200 BetOnline.ag)

Kevin Kisner is enjoying a great return to form. He’s coming off a second place finish at the Zurich Classic and a tie for 11th at the RBC Heritage. It’s not just his placings that are impressive but rather the way he is doing it. Expect Kisner to fire again this weekend.

Paul Casey (+1800 BetOnline.ag)

Paul Casey is turning into one of the most consistent performers on the tour. His last performance was at the Masters where he finished in 6th place. His game now seems the finished product. All he will need to do now is find that elusive win. It could well happen this week.
