Quickens Loan National Betting Picks

By Golf

The Travelers Championship was a great example that the magic of the PGA Tour is well and truly alive. When it started last week the golfing world was still suffering from a U.S. Open hangover. What followed over the next four days was every bit as good if not better than the U.S. Open at Erin Hills. Jordan Speith prevailed after a magnificent hole out from the green at 18 during a playoff with Daniel Berger. Golf is unpredictable at the best of times and always throws up the unexpected. Attention now turns to the Quickens Loan National that will be played at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. TPC Potomac measures 7, 139 yards and plays as a par 70. Last years story line was an emotional and heartwarming one. With Billy Hurley III winning on home soil after he had gone through a year that had a dark cloud hanging over it. His father had committed suicide that year which undoubtedly left a mark on Hurley. He came through last years event and ended up winning by three shots, including a hole out for birdie from 35 yards on 15. Last years story was another reminder that golf also has the ability to produce great stories. It remains to be seen what will happen this week in Washington. What is certain is that it will be another cracking spectacle with all possibilities on the table.

Rickie Fowler (+800 BetOnline.ag)

Fowler has seen a few of his close friends from the Spring Break 17 group win this year. The latest being Jordan Speith last week. We can expect a big shift from Fowler this week as he tries to get himself into the winners circle again. A top 10 finish in the U.S. Open shows that he is in good form and not far away from a winners performance. Coming into this week’s event as the highest ranked player may well spur him on.

Jimmy Walker (+5000 BetOnline.ag)

Jimmy Walker was diagnosed with Lyme disease two months ago. The major winner admitted to feeling tired and fatigued a lot of the time. It appears now that Walker is on the comeback trail and ready to go again after seeming more dedicated than ever. Could we be in for another great story this week in Washington, only time will tell.

Danny Lee (+2800 BetOnline.ag)

Danny Lee had a sensational week at the Travelers Championship and finished in third place. His recent engagement seems to have given him a bit of X Factor. In his last 5 events he has finished in the top six 3 times.  Danny Lee looks ready to put in another big performance this week.
