Dean and Deluca Invitational Betting Picks

By Golf

For the 72 year in a row Colonial Country Club will host a PGA Tour event as the Dean and Deluca Invitational uses it as it’s venue. A stagerring stat as only Augusta National has a longer unbroken tenure in hosting on the tour. Colonial measures 7, 209 yards and plays as a par 70.  It’s always a great week and this promises to be no exception. Jordan Speith is back to defend the title he won here last year. Speith does come in to the Dean and Deluca Invitational on the back of some truly awful form. He has missed back to back cuts at The Players Championship and AT&T Byron Nelson. The last time he missed two cuts in a row was in 2015. There’s no doubt that Speith is facing one of the more testing times in his career. The Dean and Deluca Invitational may be the place to turn it all around. He will be desperate to. The field includes 8 of the top 30 in the world. A lot of good players have gathered and there won’t be any one name that stands out completely. The Players champion Si Woo Kim makes his return after a weeks break and will look to pick up where he left off. As one of the games newest shinning lights it will be interesting to see whether he can handle his new found expectation. There is a lot to come from this kid. He may be the one to stand up and collect back to back wins.

Ryan Palmer (+2800 BetOnline.ag)

Ryan Palmer is a member at Colonial Country Club and simply loves playing there. He has finished in the top 15, 4 times in the last 5 years. Last year Palmer finished third and will look to go one better and win at a course he thrives on.

Pat Perez (+4000 BetOnline.ag)

Pat Perez seems to be coming into his own as he establishes himself on the tour.  He finished 2nd at the Wells Fargo Championship and 22nd at the Players Championship. He’s in good form and things seem to be coming easy all of a sudden. A win is certainly not out of the question.

Webb Simpson (+4000 BetOnline.ag)

The former US Open champion is once again trending in the right direction again. His finish of 16th at the Players Championship was an indication that he seems to have found form again. With the putts now finally dropping, Simpson could be a handful this week at Colonial.
